This site has been designed to allow several navigational methods:
Table of Contents. You can click on links in the Table of Contents to access specific headings or subheadings within the catalog.
Click on the
icon beside
a link to see subheadings within that section. Click on the
icon to make
those additional subheadings disappear. If a link has no icon, it
consists of a single page of information with no additional subheads.
Search. You can search for specific topics or items by using the search page. You'll find a link to this page at the top and bottom of each catalog page.
You can search just the headings in the catalog or the whole text. In addition, you can search for a single word or for a phrase by putting the phrase in quotation marks. For example: "Ethnic Studies"
If your query is successful, you will see a list of search results, called "Hit References." Each result is listed by its section heading, which you can click on to go to that part of the catalog. After viewing that page, you can click on the "Next Search Result" link to see additional instances of the word or phrase you searched for; "Previous Search Result" takes you to results you've already looked at.
Navigation. At the top of each page you'll find clickable subject headings to assist in navigating through the catalog. In addition, the table of contents is accessible by clicking on the links at the top or bottom of each page.
Near the top of each page, you'll find the
button
to go to the previous page of catalog text. Near the bottom of each page,
you'll find the
button
to go to the next page of catalog text.
Note: Each time you request specific catalog information--either by clicking on a link or by doing a search, the catalog infobase is accessed and a page is created on the fly in response to your request. As a result, you may see pages that start and end in slightly different places depending on how you access that information.
